Two ground-floor commercial spaces located in the Altitude 100 district have been acquired and transformed. One space is now a bicycle parking area, encouraging eco-friendly transportation. The other is a food distribution center aimed at combating food waste by providing affordable, quality food to the community.

This project combines sustainable practices with social responsibility, enhancing the neighborhood's appeal and contributing to a greener, more equitable environment.

   Local and responsible consumption

Water Management

We have a sustainable water management system in the new asset to reduce consumption and preserve resources. This system collects and filters rainwater for reuse in sanitary facilities and green space irrigation. Additionally, water-efficient fixtures, such as low-flow faucets and dual-flush toilets, have been installed to minimize waste. Finally, an intelligent monitoring device allows real-time tracking of consumption and quick detection of any potential leaks.

Energy

State-of-the-art solar panels have been (or will be) installed on the roof of the new asset, enabling the production of renewable energy for the tenant and the sharing of any surplus generated with the entire community. This installation will reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower energy costs for occupants. Additionally, the electricity produced contributes directly to the green energy production targets set at the European level. By actively participating in the local energy transition, this project strengthens the sustainability and environmental commitment of the new asset.

Acoustic insulation

The new asset has been equipped with advanced acoustic insulation to enhance sound comfort for occupants and visitors. Sound-absorbing materials have been installed in the walls, ceilings, and floors to effectively reduce noise from outside and between different areas of the building. This installation helps create a quieter and more pleasant activity environment, promoting concentration and well-being. By reducing noise disturbances, the building also meets essential acoustic comfort standards required in new buildings.

Thermal insulation

The new asset has been equipped with high-performance thermal insulation, with special attention given to roof insulation. High-quality insulating materials have been installed under the roof to minimize heat loss in winter and reduce overheating in summer. This insulation enhancement helps maintain a comfortable indoor temperature year-round while decreasing heating and cooling needs. By optimizing the building's energy efficiency, this installation contributes to lower energy costs and a reduced carbon footprint.
